Senior Technical Accountant

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of progressive technical accounting experience and a strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. The role will involve serving as the company's subject-matter expert on complex accounting matters, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, accurate financial reporting, and sound accounting judgment in the highly regulated aerospace and defense environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive technical accounting experience, including Big 4 or national public accounting and/or public company experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, regulated manufacturing, or IPO-ready environments.
• Experience working with enterprise ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with financial reporting and data analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated experience preparing technical accounting memoranda and supporting accounting conclusions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
