Senior Accountant

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the general ledger functions, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and support the financial reporting process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent full-time professional experience
• 4+ years of full-time professional experience within the defense or government contracting industry
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed
• Strong knowledge of government contracting regulations, including FAR and CAS
• Proficiency in accounting software and systems, such as Deltek Costpoint, or similar platforms
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
