Job Description
Cerence Japan is seeking an ambitious sales engineer with a strong technical background to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in deepening relationships with existing customers in the transportation industry, while driving new revenue opportunities through pre-sales consultancy and innovative solution development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Gen AI solutions and large language models (LLMs)
- Experience in software development
- Familiarity with infotainment and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry (OEMs, Tier 1s)
- Proven customer-facing experience and a customer-focused approach
- High proficiency in oral and written communication/presentation skills in both Japanese and English
- Willingness to travel
- Strong team player, self-motivated, and proficient computer user
