Job Description
Seattle, WA is seeking a Port Engineer to schedule, coordinate, and perform vessel repair & maintenance, manage oil analysis programs, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. The role involves reviewing vessel maintenance records, managing project costs, and coordinating emergency repairs. This position involves a high degree of physical ability and exposure to hazardous conditions.
Requirements
- Experience maintaining tugs and barges.
- Two (2) years of experience on tugs, tankers, oil barges or equivalent military experience.
- Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in the maritime industry.
- U.S. Coast Guard license on a Merchant Mariner’s Document.
- Knowledge of oil transportation and marine industry preferred.
