ITAR - Export Compliance Advisor

We are seeking an ITAR/Export Compliance Manager to ensure Celestica's export operations are in compliance with government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Requirements

• Develops and updates export policies and guidelines as needed.
• Evaluates product specifications based on export regulations, classifies items, and identifies any special instruction or requirements to employees and customers.
• Conducts education programs and performs due diligence to ensure compliance to country regulations.
• Conducts audits of sites managing ITAR programs, and ensuring Technology Control Plans are up to date and complied to.
• Ensures current and thorough knowledge of relevant regulations, laws and upcoming changes.
• Responsible for writing and implementing Manufacturing License Agreements (MLA) and Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA).
• Responsible for writing and implementing Department of State licenses and Bureau of Industry & Security export licenses.
• Responsible for process development, re-engineering, implementation and training relating to operational improvements or legislation changes related to area of responsibility.
• Acts as a liaison with government bodies including, Commerce and State Departments.
• Interfaces with various levels of Celestica management to ensure processes are in place and working such that we maintain compliance with ITAR and export compliance processes.
