Export Compliance Specialist

This position is the Designated Official Role for Celestica Newmarket site. The chosen candidate will be nominated (to the Canadian Government - Controlled Goods Directorate) for the role of Designated Official by Celestica. The candidate will be security vetted for the role by the Canadian Controlled Goods Directorate. The candidate will also have to successfully complete and pass the Designated Official training.

Requirements

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work under minimal supervision
• Export compliance, customs, contracts, or legal background (Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering backgrounds also considered)
• Position of maturity and standing in the organization
• Excellent sense of discretion and sensitivity
