Accounting & Tax Specialist

Incumbents apply in-depth knowledge in a specific area of specialization, working within established professional standards and practices. Works on problems of moderate scope, analyzing situations or data with considerable judgment. Leads a work group or project team, builds internal and external relationships, and implements process improvements. Presents complex information and assists clients/users on vastly different issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar
• Proven experience as a tax accountant, tax analyst, or similar
• Strong knowledge of accounting/tax laws and procedures
• Expert knowledge of office systems and analytical tools
• Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Three to six years of relevant experience
• Accounting designation may be required
