Accounting Analyst

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly information for internal and external reporting, ensuring financial controls are in place, and interfacing with external parties. You will also be involved in records retention and standardizing accounting processes. You will work independently on most aspects of the job, with some guidance from others. You will need to have a bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Accounting and good command of written and spoken English.

Requirements

• Prepare monthly and quarterly information for internal and external reporting
• Ensure financial controls are in place to properly record transactions in accordance with group and local accounting principles and practices
• Interface with external parties (auditors, tax authority representatives) on area of responsibility
• Involved in records retention process
• Responsible for standardizing accounting processes and implementing best practices
• Ability to run a successful meeting (i.e. agenda, timetable, demonstrate good time management, conclusion, follow-up and minutes)
• Evaluates alternatives based on pros/cons
• Provides input on how to manage necessary changes
• Leads by example and is accountable for own actions
