The Specialist, IT Infrastructure - Systems Administrator will install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the site's operating environment, ensuring the ongoing reliability, performance and security of the infrastructure.

Requirements

• Participates in the development of an effective server design and strategy
• Provides technical support and perform maintenance
• Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• Provides technical guidance to customers and departmental staff on infrastructure environment issues
• Perform service monitoring and reporting, with a focus on risk management and compliance
• Explore new solutions, enhancements and opportunities for continuous improvement, projects and more
• Provides infrastructure troubleshooting and effective solutions to problems while minimizing downtime
• Installing and configuring server infrastructure equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
• Monitoring server environments to improve infrastructure performance for computer systems and networks
• Lead projects and change management initiatives
• Manages external service providers
