Job Description
Catbird is hiring for a Merchandise Planner to join the team. In this role, you’ll oversee sales and inventory planning across our growing jewelry collection, helping us balance data-driven precision with creativity.
Requirements
- 3-4+ years in buying or planning
- 1-2+ years of management experience
- Adept at learning new platforms and systems
- Strong analytical, problem solving, Excel and retail math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Flexible, able to pivot quickly, multitask and set priorities for self & team
- Strong sense of urgency and ownership
- Team player with a respectful, positive and supportive approach
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, startup-like environment - scrappy, resourceful, and excited to wear many hats as the role evolves
