Job Description
CannonDesign is seeking a Mechanical Intern to join a multi-disciplinary team and assist in the design and installation of HVAC systems. Projects can range from new construction to renovation in various settings. The role involves direct design, project management, and collaboration with engineers and clients. Candidates should have a strong understanding of energy modeling and Revit/BIM software.
Requirements
- Perform and direct design of ductwork, piping, and equipment.
- Calculate heating, cooling loads and layout designs.
- Prepare Revit/BIM models.
- Edit specifications and manage project changes.
- Oversee construction progress and monitor project budgets.
- Research and respond to RFI’s and issue review of change orders.
