Job Description
We are looking for a rehabilitation counselor to evaluate the professional, training, and medical needs of claimants who suffer from disability, design and implement approved service plans, and work in partnership with internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in health sciences, psychosocial intervention, or any other relevant field combined with relevant experience
- 4 years of relevant experience in intervention
- 5 years of experience in rehabilitation (asset)
- Have relevant experience in facilitation
- Have relevant experience in 'coaching' and 'counseling'
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Autonomy
- Ability to work with multiple schedules and priorities
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to transcribe to computer as needed, relevant information while communicating (by phone or in person) with insured persons, employers, health professionals, etc.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required
- Reliability rating and security clearance
- Valid driver's license and vehicle
- Ability to install office equipment in a reserved space in your home
