Job Description
Calvary Hospital and @Home in the Bronx are dedicated to palliative care for advanced cancer and terminally ill patients and their families. They offer a full spectrum of services including emotional, spiritual, and physical care and provide support to referring institutions throughout New York City and the tri-state area. Calvary Hospital has been serving the community for over 125 years and has been a family for many.
Requirements
- Provide medical social services, psychosocial and bereavement counseling to hospice patients and families.
- At least one year of Hospice or Home Care experience preferred.
- New York State driver’s license.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to exhibit a caring and traditional spirit of service.
- MSW from an accredited school of social work and one year related experience.
- LMSW or LCSW eligible.
