Senior Sous Chef

Calo is a meal planning app for busy people in the UK. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join their UK Kitchen team, focusing on seamless daily operations, maintaining food quality, team leadership, menu development, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be both a culinary expert and a strong leader.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the hospitality, catering, or food production industry
• Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume or production-based kitchen
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or central kitchen facility is a strong plus
• Strong command of English with excellent communication skills
• Currently based in the UK and able to reliably commute or relocate to NW10 7PR (London)
• Knowledge and Competency in managing kitchen teams and operations
• Strong understanding of kitchen sections and production flows
• Familiar with food safety standards and HACCP procedures
• Proficient in kitchen software systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Up-to-date with culinary trends and dietary preferences
• Up-to-date with culinary trends and process optimization
