Job Description
As an Import & Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining accurate records of all international transactions. This is a hybrid role that works in the DTLA Arts District office Tuesday through Thursday.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in import coordination, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of U.S. import regulations, CBP requirements, and FDA Prior Notice
- Hands-on experience importing food ingredients or raw materials
- Familiarity with HTS classification, duties, and landed cost calculations
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and ingredient suppliers
- High attention to detail; ability to manage multiple ingredient shipments simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and proven cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and Food Safety systems (TraceGains)
- Familiarity with FSVP, organic imports, and allergen documentation
