Job Description
Assist with monitoring of fish passages, operate fish lifts, and perform quality control checks as a Fisheries Technician at Cataract Dam in Saco, ME. Work independently and cooperatively with others, identify safety and environmental hazards, and prioritize safety.
Requirements
- Assist with monitoring of upstream and downstream fish passages
- Operate fish lifts to capture, sort, and count fish
- Perform quality control checks
- Assist with fish passage studies
- Work independently and cooperatively with others
- Identify safety and environmental hazards and prepare job safety plans
- Have a valid driver's license
