Pediatrician- Same Day Pediatrics

The Pediatrician- Same Day Pediatrics role provides special medical and consultative care to patients at Boys Town National Research Hospital, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various conditions. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine degree, successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or American Osteopathic Association accredited residency in pediatrics, and board certification in pediatrics.

Requirements

• Provides direct pediatric care to hospital inpatients and ambulatory patients
• Prescribes and administers treatments, therapies, medications, and other specialized medical care
• Monitors patients' conditions and progress
• Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic tests
• Participates in and/or conducts educational programs
• Participates in medical and hospital committees
