Job Description
Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary and episodic care at the Barbara McInnis House, a 103-bed respite care facility for adults experiencing homelessness. BMH staff provides 24/7 care and supports patients with a collaborative, compassionate approach, integrating social determinants of health into treatment plans.
Requirements
- Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Registered or eligible to be registered with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency
- At least one year of direct NP/PA experience
- Experience in working with underserved populations, mentally ill, homeless and/or persons with substance use disorders preferred
- Life support training certification (e.g. CPR, BLS, ACLS) from a course that includes a hands-on, in-person component
- Bilingual proficiency preferred
