Job Description
We are currently offering a $8,500 sign on bonus for full-time hires. Knowledgeable of Sterile Processing Technicians roles and job responsibilities. Sets the example in the department and is knowledgeable about all tasks associated with sterile processing.
Requirements
- Receives, sorts, cleans, and decontaminates reusable instruments and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
- Operates cleaning and decontamination machinery
- Inspects, assembles, and sterilizes surgical instruments and materials
- May lead department operations in the absence of the SPD Manager
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge on medical instrument processing
- Assists with staff training, competency testing
- Communicates and collaborates with department staff, OR personnel, and managers
- Troubleshoots daily operational problems
