Vice President, POM Product Owner

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, POM Product Owner, to join our BNY Payments Enablement Enterprise Platform team. This role is located in Manchester, UK. As a Product Owner, you'll make an impact in the Inquiry Management Group, responsible for managing and resolving transactional inquiries across the payment's lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent
• A number of years experience in transaction banking as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst role
• Proven experience working on payment investigations or related areas such as payment processing, SWIFT messaging, or reconciliation
• Experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments
• Understanding of API integration, workflow systems, and case management tools used in transaction banking
• Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Excel, iGrafx, and data visualization tools
• Strong communication and documentation skills — able to translate complex payment processes into business and technical requirements
• High attention to detail, especially in compliance- and risk-sensitive environments
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
