Job Description
BNY is seeking a VP, POM Product Owner to lead a Product Backlog within the BNY Payments Enablement Enterprise Platform. This role will focus on regulatory adherence, user experience, and the future of payments within the sanctions screening group, ensuring a successful and innovative platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in transaction banking
- 5-7 years in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst role
- Deep knowledge of global sanctions regimes and compliance frameworks
- Solid understanding of matching logic, fuzzy-matching algorithms, and data-quality challenges
- Experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments with a solid grasp of Agile principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience collaborating with compliance, legal, and technical teams
