Job Description
Bitso is seeking a Country Manager for Brazil to lead their business, drive regulatory compliance, and build relationships with customers and partners. This role is central to Bitso's mission of making crypto accessible to millions of people and aims to shape the future of the crypto ecosystem in Brazil. The Country Manager will be the primary spokesperson for Bitso, operating in one of Latin America’s most important markets.
Requirements
- Proven track record in building and leading teams, preferably in fintech, crypto, payments, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of the Brazilian regulatory and financial ecosystem, including relationships with regulators, banks, payment institutions, and fintech associations.
- Experience as a public spokesperson, with demonstrable success engaging with media, regulators, and senior stakeholders.
- Strategic business development background, with experience negotiating partnerships and supporting sales pipelines.
- Legal and compliance awareness, able to act as legal representative with personal accountability.
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (Spanish desirable).
