bitaksi is Turkey's leading taxi-hailing app, transforming urban mobility with innovative technology. We're looking for a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data systems, integrate AI/LLM models into production, and empower our teams with reliable Data APIs and infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred; Go is a strong plus)
- Strong SQL skills, including optimization of complex queries
- Hands-on experience with databases (both relational and NoSQL)
- Experience with AI/ML data pipelines, especially LLM-related workflows, embeddings, and vector databases
- Familiarity with data preprocessing and feature engineering for AI/ML models
- Practical experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools, preferably Airflow
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring and observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
