Job Description
BT-162 is seeking a Data Engineer Specialist to join the Innovation and Automation team. This role focuses on developing and implementing reusable data engineering frameworks and tooling to accelerate data pipelines, ensuring reliability, and providing expert support for other engineers. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem-solver with a passion for automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering
- Expert-level programming skills in Python and advanced SQL
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure)
- Strong, hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- Demonstrable experience with CI/CD tools
- Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and software engineering best practices
