Job Description
BT-151 is a Data Engineer role focused on building and maintaining the data catalog and governance systems. This is a hands-on position where the engineer will develop and implement data pipelines, integrating data sources into the enterprise data catalog and ensuring data quality. The role involves troubleshooting data pipelines, collaborating with data sources, and contributing to automated data governance tasks.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in a data engineering role.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and advanced SQL.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience working with REST APIs to integrate different systems.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS S3, Azure Data Lake).
- A foundational understanding of metadata management and data governance concepts.
