Principal Engineer, Systems

Beehive Industries is seeking a Principal Engineer, Systems to lead the design, analysis, and evaluation of turbomachinery components, assemblies, and systems integration. The role will be responsible for executing analytical, design, and programmatic milestones, leading a cross-functional team, and developing system level solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
• At least 11+ years of experience in gas turbine design, test, and/or development
• At least 5 years of experience working in a systems engineering position
• Strong understanding of design software tools as used in modeling (CAD) and analysis (CFD, FEM)
• Experience working with gas turbines for aviation product applications from a mechanical and aero design perspective
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Experience working with additive manufacturing technologies and familiarity with design for additive manufacturing principles
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and strong program leadership and execution skills
