Principal Engineer, Mechanical Systems Leader

Beehive Industries is seeking a Principal Engineer, Mechanical Systems Leader to design and analyze bearings, seals, and pumps in a gas turbine engine, and lead a cross-functional team of engineers to execute analytical, design, and programmatic milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
• At least 12+ years of experience in mechanical systems design
• Strong understanding of design software tools as used in modelling (CAD) and analysis (FEM)
• Experience working with gas turbines for aviation product applications from a mechanical and aero design perspective
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Experience working with additive manufacturing technologies and familiarity with design for additive manufacturing principles
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and strong program leadership and execution skills
• Proven self-starter and quick learner who can work in fast-paced cross-functional teams
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
