Unclaimed Property Tax Managing Director, State and Local Tax

The Tax Managing Director, State and Local Taxation role is responsible for providing tax advice, evaluating tax strategies, and ensuring compliance. This position requires marketing, networking, and client relationship building within a key area of the office. It involves managing engagement metrics, collaborating with Business Development, and acting as an industry expert in the area of SALT.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other relevant field
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or other relevant field preferred
• CPA certification or other relevant certification preferred
• Ten (10) or more years of prior SALT experience required
• Prior experience supervising tax professionals on a project or engagement basis required
• Prior experience preparing and/or reviewing tax provisions high preferred
• Prior experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships preferred
• Strong analytical and research skills
