Manager, Facility Operations & Maintenance - FIFA Support

At BC Place, a division of BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo), we work to create unforgettable moments, world-class experiences and stronger connections to community, industry and culture. We are looking for an experienced Manager, Facility Operations, FIFA Support to oversee the planning, construction, and maintenance of our outdoor infrastructure, including parking lots, power, water, sewage, and other critical site amenities.

Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education and training in Building or Facility Management or completion of a post-secondary diploma/certificate in an Interprovincial trade, or equivalent combination of training, knowledge and experience.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years’ management experience in a large facility.
• Trade experience is an asset.
• Sound working knowledge of a wide variety of standard software applications, internet communications and research including Momentus (EBMS), ABI, and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with health and safety regulations including WorkSafe BC.
• A thorough knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, maintenance, building automation systems, environmental health and safety compliance requirements.
• Extensive experience in facility operations, for stadiums during major events such as the Olympics or Women’s World Cup.
• Proven ability to plan and deliver infrastructure for large sporting events or similar high-profile projects.
• Knowledge site coordination for events, concerts, tours, or sporting events.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and lift/move up to 20 lbs. as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
