The Volunteer Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating volunteer recruitment, management, training, and retention within the organization. This role involves overseeing volunteers, coordinating special projects and fundraising events, and providing administrative support. The position requires flexibility to work both business hours and on weekends and is essential for program objectives and requirements.

Requirements

• Provide oversight of volunteer services management
• Interview potential volunteers and match talents with organizational needs
• Process, organize and maintain volunteer paperwork
• Coordinate volunteer teams for office projects and community outreach
• Oversee volunteer recognition program
• Track volunteer hours and create reports for data entry
• Provide volunteer policies, procedures, forms, instructions, and guidance
• Maintain a monthly calendar of volunteer projects
• Provide oversight of Agency's Christmas Store and Adopt-A-Family programs
• Assist with presentations, booths, and fairs
• Assist with general office duties
