Community Safety Officer- On Call

The Community Safety Officer (security guard) is expected to provide campus safety and security while monitoring access control of the College buildings, grounds, and sidewalks.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, plus 2 or more years work experience
• Ability to communicate effectively; to comprehend, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to maintain composure in an emergency situation
• Ability to maintain professional and technical competency
• Possess valid New York State Security Guard License
• Possess Fire Guard Certificate of Fitness (F01, F03, and/or F04), or ability to complete testing in the first 90 days of employment
