Job Description
Painters are responsible for mixing and applying paint to various surfaces using paint techniques and tools to complete paint projects.
Requirements
- Possess brush and roll painting skills
- Perform a layout on a job
- Mastics and Caulk Application
- Cut Lines and Figures
- Power Tool Surface Prep
- Knowledge of testing valves on a machine to ensure that it is operational
- Must be able to obtain a government access badge
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Must be able to calculate and understand units of measure
- Must be able to wear applicable PPE (Hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, steel toes shoes, ear protection, Tyvek suits, respirators, etc.)
