Job Description
Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor is needed to assist patients with opioid addiction through medically assisting treatments and offering coping strategies. Counselor will provide individual and group counseling, coordinate services, and collaborate with medical teams to achieve patient outcomes. The role involves conducting initial assessments and developing post-treatment plans.
Requirements
- Must be credentialed in Louisiana as a RAC, CAC or LAC
- CITs will be accepted if they have obtained their number and meet the educational requirements
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals is a plus
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude towards our patient population
- Must provide Satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen
