Job Description
Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor is needed to assist patients through medically assisting treatments and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction. This role involves individual and group counseling sessions, case management, and collaborating with medical professionals to help patients achieve a positive outcome. The counselor will also maintain accurate records and assist with program oversight.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the State of Louisiana for substance abuse counseling
- Provisionally licensed addiction counselor (PLADC) or licensed addiction counselor (LADC)
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
