Technical Facilities Supervisor

The Technical Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of productions at a museum, including lighting, sound, video, and special effects. The role requires a strong technical skill set and a deep understanding of theatre production. The position involves team management, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and post-production operations.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in Theatre Production, Stage Management, Technical Theatre, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical management role within a professional theatre or events environment
• Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of lighting, sound, rigging, and stage equipment
• Proficiency in operating lighting control systems, sound equipment, video/projection, rigging, and show control systems
• Extensive knowledge of technical theatre systems, safety protocols, and best practices
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
