Job Description
The Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture is seeking a Technical Supervisor to support and manage the technical aspects of events and productions. This role involves coordinating production, ensuring quality control, managing equipment, and providing client service. The supervisor will work with the Technical Director and lead a team of technicians, fostering a safe and positive work environment.
Requirements
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours
- Experience in technical theatre or related roles
- Proficiency in technical equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of industry-standard software and equipment
- Proven experience in stage management and technical production for live events
