Job Description
Autocar, LLC is a manufacturer of severe-duty vocational trucks seeking a Compliance Engineer. This role focuses on ensuring vehicle safety and environmental compliance through monitoring regulatory changes, managing recalls, and supporting a compliance posture. The role requires collaboration across departments and technical teams to protect company assets and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, quality, or engineering
- Experience preparing and managing recall and compliance reports (NHTSA, Transport Canada)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Self-starter mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Detail oriented with a penchant for accuracy
- Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to stand, walk, and use hand tools.
