Project Manager

Auckland Airport is seeking a Project Manager to lead and execute airport infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with the airport's strategic objectives and operational needs. The role is critical in delivering complex capital works safely and efficiently while maintaining the continuity of airport operations.

Requirements

• Take ownership for holistic project or assigned project element performance.
• Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government bodies, contractors, and airport services, to align project objectives.
• Monitor and report on project status to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Understand the full scope of the project or assigned project element including broader dependencies and ensures that the projects take account of airport operational requirements.
• Actively manages interfaces and promotes best for business solutions even if these may not be to the immediate advantage of the project.
• Ensures that dashboards and progress reports for project or assigned project element is accurate, on time and complete.
• Provides input to papers and presentations where requested.
• Escalates risk and opportunity to the Senior Project Manager where necessary.
