We are looking for a Disaster Relief Agent to work remotely in support of FEMA, assisting callers with questions and concerns around local or state emergencies. The role requires at least 6 months of customer service experience and the ability to pass a federal background check.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of customer service experience
- Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently
- Ability to type a minimum of 25 WPM (words per minute)
- Ability to pass a federal background check
- Ability to comply with moderate computer usage
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as well as overtime and/or holidays as needed
- Experience with and/or ability to use call center telephony equipment
- Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection
- Private work area and adequate power source
- Experience with FEMA is preferred, but not required
