Job Description
Aspida is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate General Counsel – Reinsurance to manage the legal aspects of their reinsurance business line. This role involves legal advice, M&A support, regulatory compliance, and risk management within a dynamic and growing organization. The ideal candidate will report to the Chief Legal Officer and be onsite 3 days a week.
Requirements
- Law degree and member in good standing of a State Bar
- 5+ years of relevant transactions experience with a law firm or as in-house counsel
- Experience with and/or deep interest in insurance and reinsurance
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in the provision of legal advice
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative approach
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressured and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior judgment
