Job Description
Lead Engineer position at Apex Engineering Group in St. Cloud, MN, responsible for managing a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff on City, County, and MnDOT projects. Requires business development, project management, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineers License preferred or ability to be licensed within 6-12 months in MN
- 5-15 Years of experience working as a Civil Engineer primarily on transportation focused projects
- Experience working as a consultant or for a state agency on MnDOT, State-Aid or County-Aid projects in Minnesota
- Knowledge and experience with MnDOT Prequalification submittals
- Strong project management skills and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientated, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Windows/Office products
- Valid driver’s license
