Lead Engineer

Lead Engineer position at Apex Engineering Group in Dickinson, ND, responsible for business development, project management, and team leadership in transportation services. Typical tasks include providing engineering services, communicating with project team members, and participating in business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineers License preferred or ability to be licensed within 6-12 months in MN
• 5-15 Years of experience working as a Civil Engineer primarily on transportation focused projects
• Experience working as a consultant or for a state agency on MnDOT, State-Aid or County-Aid projects in Minnesota
• Knowledge and experience with MnDOT Prequalification submittals
• Strong project management skills and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail orientated, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Flexible working style and willingness to occasionally modify personal schedules as required to meet deadlines and/or client needs
• Proficient using Microsoft Windows/Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• A valid driver’s license is required or the ability to obtain one
