Maintenance Director

The Maintenance Director is responsible for the overall functionality and aesthetics of the property. This role involves maintaining buildings and ensuring they meet State and Federal regulations, overseeing maintenance tasks like caulking, painting, and repairs, and supporting community compliance. The director also assists with moving-out inspections and training the maintenance team.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/paint, carpentry, ceramic/tile, and appliance installation/repairs.
• EPA Universal and CPO certifications.
• High school diploma and some college or trade school (preferred), plus at least three years of apartment maintenance experience.
• At least three (3) years of supervisor experience.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
