As First Mate, you will oversee and direct your team in the execution of marine operations, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company safety standards. You will work on marine operations worldwide, collaborating with a skilled bridge team and other departments.
Requirements
- Maritime education and compliance with all STCW requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an officer of the watch
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a DPO working in the offshore oil and gas, construction, or dredging industry
- Minimum 5 rotations' experience as a Second or Third Mate on a pipelay vessel actively engaged in pipelay activity
- COO with competency level II/2 and IV/2 'Chief Mate with NO limitations'
- DPO Unlimited certification
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- B1 level English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Decisiveness, good communication, leadership, and reporting skills
