Teaching Artists

Teaching Artists are practicing professionals who engage a wide range of people in learning experiences in, through, and about the arts. They implement Alley-branded curricula through workshops and residencies, both inside schools and at the Alley Theatre.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Theatre or Theatre Education, or comparable training and professional experience.
• Exceptional skills and/or lived experience in acting, writing, and theatre arts integration.
• Ability to work with students from various cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Conversational Spanish or Spanish Fluency a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
