Quality Engineer

Allegion is a global leader in security and safety, with a focus on pioneering safety and security. The company is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Princeton, IL. The successful candidate will lead problem-solving, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective action for process-related concerns. They will also be responsible for developing and providing training to build quality awareness, assisting in establishing and maintaining the quality management system, and interfacing with suppliers, engineering, and operations to provide feedback and data for products and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field
• 3+ years quality and engineering or related experience in a manufacturing environment with supervisory or lead experience preferred
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer Certification preferred
• Sound engineering and leadership skills
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO, or related experience preferred
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail skills along with the ability to hand multiple projects at once
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to build strong and sustainable relationships
• Skilled in team building and experience in effectively working with cross functional teams
• Understanding of applicable computer systems such as Microsoft Office and function specific software
