M&A, Investment Banking Analyst (New York, US)

Alantra is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Analyst to help support its M&A and capital raising advisory business in New York City. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of relevant experience with a strong background in finance and accounting.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or other similar experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record required; business, economics, health-related and finance/accounting majors preferred.
• Knowledge of M&A and capital raising practices is essential.
• Solid finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.
• Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables.
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
• FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses are required, or to be obtained within the first six months of employment.
