M&A Consumer, Investment Banking Analyst (New York, US)

Alantra is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to support its M&A and capital raising advisory business in New York or Boston. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience and be able to immediately impact the team.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking
• Bachelor's degree required, focus in business, finance, accounting or similar preferred
• Strong knowledge of M&A and capital raising
• Solid finance/accounting knowledge
• Experience in reviewing analysts' work models, valuations, and training
• Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills
• Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently
• Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
• FINRA Series 79/7 and 63 licenses are required, or to be obtained within the first six months of employment
