Accountant - EU & APAC

Airspace is a tech-enabled freight forwarder that’s redefining how the world’s most critical packages are delivered. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support our regional finance operations across the EU and APAC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational or regional environment (EU/APAC exposure is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/local GAAP) and month-end close processes.
• Experience with payroll accounting and reconciliations; familiarity with VAT/GST processes is an advantage.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential with an emphasis on building new spreadsheets, analyzing large data sets and using advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and IF() statements
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
