Job Description
Affirm is a fast-growing, honest, and friendly credit platform company seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable systems and data pipelines for a rapidly scaling consumer credit reporting product. The role involves close collaboration with Product, Compliance, Servicing, and Credit teams, and focuses on delivering accurate and timely data for financial institutions. This is a fully remote position within a fast-paced and growing company.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience designing and building large-scale distributed backend systems
- Proven track record of delivering high-volume, highly available systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- Experience defining technical strategies for complex initiatives
- Skills in operational rigor, leadership and influence, project management and strong communication.
